伦敦塔

伦敦塔：（Tower of London）英国伦敦一座标志性的宫殿。

1、伦敦塔位于伦敦泰晤士河北岸、伦敦塔桥附近。塔身为诺曼底式三层建筑，东西长35.9米，南北宽32.6米，高27.4米。
2、伦敦塔的官方名称是“女王陛下的宫殿与城堡-伦敦塔”，最初是为控制整个伦敦城而建，占地18英亩。
3、伦敦塔曾作为堡垒、军械库、国库、铸币厂、宫殿、刑场、公共档案办公室、天文台、避难所和监狱，特别关押上层阶级的囚犯。

The official name of the Tower of London is the Palace and Castle of Her Majesty the Queen - the Tower of London, which was originally built to control the whole city of London. The Tower of London used to serve as a fortress, armory, treasury, mint, palace, execution ground, public archives office, observatory, refuge and prison, especially for upper class prisoners.
